Recently William Morassutti, Editorial Director and Executive Director of TORO Magazine, appeared on Rogers Daily to talk a bit on upcoming styles and trends. In his interview he did include our Gotstyle private label shirts and other pieces found at our store.

Keep it bookmarked and your Google Reader’s tracking it: Toro Magazine continues to be a great read for every Canadian guy.

Cotton Blazers

Tuxedo Jackets

I have a lot of guys starting to ask what’s coming in for Spring.

Expect the return to classic styling, but with a modern edge. Easy fashions that work effortlessly together. It’s about adding the new basics to your wardrobe.

The must have items for Spring? We’ve broken it down by look:

The New Preppy

  1. The cotton blazer or suit – this will be your go to item this season! – Look for Cinque, TConcept
  2. Slim fit oxford shirts – Haight & Ashbury, Cabilan
  3. The prefect fitting khakis – Cold Method
  4. Bowties and knit ties

The New Essentials

  1. The evening blazer
  2. Crisp white shirt with french cuffs
  3. Leather jacket – motocross or biker style
  4. White t-shirt – the V-neck, the super low V-neck, the baggy low round neck, henley
  5. Biker boots
  6. Black jeans

Next week we’ll have a video on the New Business Attire!

Side note: I know that fashion magazines keep showing double breasted suits, but I’m just not ready for it …yet. But please don’t think if you used to wear double breasted suits you can pull your old ones out of the closet!
