James Bond may have rocked grey suits pretty well, but we’d put money on these grey suits looking better than his. Be ready in seconds for weddings, work, social events, going out, or mixing up these pieces for nights out on the town with a 3piece grey suit – also known as the perfect suit for Summer.

What’s New: Spring Suits Are Here!
by Courtney in New Arrivals on March 14th, 2012 DiscussionOn the hottest day of the year, when you’re crammed into a streetcar, walking to lunch, and sweating on the commute to work, nobody really wants to be covered in clothes. But with the right summer suits, you’ll stay cool and collected. Lightweight wool, linen, and cotton suits are something every man needs to have in his wardrobe, even if a suit isn’t in your cards for every day.

What Suit Suits You? (VIDEO)
by Melissa in Video Tips on November 3rd, 2011 Discussion
In the video, I’m talking a lot about half canvas and full canvas suits. What is canvas and why is it so important?
The canvas in a suit is the basis of suit tailoring; it’s the material (usually horse hair canvas) that is between the lining and the cloth of the jacket. Having a canvas jacket respects the true natural of the fabric, allowing it to breathe, move and fall better on the wearer. The more you wear a canvas suit, the more it molds to your body. A fused suit is more rigid and stiff and sits away from the body.
A canvas jacket also maintains its shape after time and repeated cleanings and doesn’t “bubble” like a fused suit does. A canvas jacket also helps to distribute stress points evenly on the suit, which helps to contain the wear and tear of the cloth – helping prolong the life of the suit. If you’re wearing a suit everyday, it’s worth it to pay more and get a suit that will last longer and look better on you.
Another quick note:
Cinque starts at a size 36 but we can do a special order for size 34 (46 and 44 European)
Paul Betenley now starts at size 36 (not 38 as mentioned in video)
Both LAB and TConcept start at size 34 (44 European)
What’s New: Fall Blazers by Cinque, Strellson, and SUIT
by Gotstyle in New Arrivals on October 15th, 2011 DiscussionAll of us at Gotstyle are in love with texture this fall. From corduroy to velvet, leather to tweed, we can’t get enough of it! Here’s some of our favourite fall blazers that’ll add some dimension to your wardrobe.
Lets start with one of the most classic yet trendy looks for this season the tweed sportcoat. The warm neutral brown pallet matched with a modern fit bring in just the right amount of traditional, while keeping your wardrobe looking new and current. With a very fine tweed like this, you won’t end up feeling outdated or stuck in a time warp. Match this with a nice pair of black slacks and a crisp shirt and you have a great alternative to your staple all black suit.
If you’re not loving corduroy, but want a bit of texture in your wardrobe; this Strellson blazer priced at $650 is perfect. The very fine wales give it a slight texture, but nothing overpowering. The shape of this blazer is great too, by accentuating the shoulders it becomes a very flattering and versatile piece to have in your closet.
For something more casual, Johnny Love makes this great blazer priced at $495. The heavy tweed will keep you warm and is perfect for the guy who likes to keep his weekend look more polished than casual.
SUIT blazers: $350 each.
Every fall we see a lot of greens, reds, and earthy colours which brings us to these two amazing green blazers. Depending how casual your office dress code is, these jackets can easily be mixed into both your social and work wardrobes. And if your weekends involve a lot of lunches and outings to museums, galleries etc. then having tweed blazers like these will prove to be a great asset.
Gotstyle plaid blazer with suede elbow patches $595.
Now for the guy that has a blazer for every possible situation, we recommend going bold by playing with patterns and colours. For pattern the clear winner for this category is plaid. As for colour there are some great combination depending on your occasion. If you are looking for just the right balance we recommend more of a earth tone pallet like you see above. Another great way to step up this look is to get a blaze that has elbow patches. Lets face it you can never go wrong by adding a little British flare to your ensemble.

Black cotton tuxedo jackets with different fabric lapel (a subtle but nice detail) $595 – a must have item for every any man that wants to look sharp when going out. Nicely paired with a subtle tuxedo striped pant in grey. $225
