Rogues Gallery, the ultimate casual brand at Gotstyle has had a few more pieces arrive for this Fall/Winter.

‘Tis the season for more reindeer in our lives! Game tee is available for $65 each.

One of the best options for a wintery season in or outdoors is flannel, and Rogues Gallery’s brushed navy flannel shirt is just that. Soft on the skin, for both the bearer and the one cozying up next to him. Priced at $145.

Pair up this vest with anything: t-shirt, flannel shirts, sweaters, and even as a liner for your jacket. A complimentary vest can go with almost anything you wear. Get one for $185.

Didn’t you hear Melissa the last time she went on her rant against jeans? Alternative bottoms are in, and this brown casual pair of pants from Rogues Gallery fits the bill. And the lining is full of loons! Available for $225.

Please take off your pants

by Melissa in New Arrivals on October 15th, 2010 Discussion

Favorite words I love saying to guys shopping in the store! This season I will be saying it alot more because we have some amazing pants for this Fall. Take a look in your closet now and what do you have for pants? Tons of denim, some boring dress pants and maybe a few pairs of chinos. For years it’s all been about the shirt but this season the pant is taking over to help up-grade your wardrobe (so make some room in your closet!).

What’s great about the new styles of pants this season?

Great fabrics – look for menswear classics like tweeds, flannels, checks and plaids in modern fits. Ease of co-ordination these fabrics are super easy to mix and match with, many can take you from casual to work to evening.

These Ted Baker pants have a great velvet trim detail $250

Another great Ted pant in a black / blue birdeye give you tons of versitility when it comes to co-ordinating. $275

My Favorite pant of the season – tuxedo stripe in a nice sturdy fabric, the perfect alternative to jeans when going out. Where it with a white french cuff shirts or a hoodie – either way it works!

Sand herringbone pants $250

We have a great selection of subtle check pants in for Fall like Cinque $225 and Stones $195. Wear them with neurtral colors for work and spice them up with their accent color for evening.

If you notice these pants all have substance – important to think about how your boys are going to feel when it’s minus 30 out! (you don’t want the wind whistling though those thin dress pants you usually wear do you?)

What’s New: Sans Vanite + Hiltl Pants

by reggie in New Arrivals on September 29th, 2010 Discussion

Vancouver based label Sans Vanite has made its way back onto our racks this fall with new tees, henleys, and hoodies.

It’s soft and slim fitting with an emphasis to detail. The black and greys are sure to blend you into the fall season for your casual days and nights out in the city. Different styles to choose from, be sure to try one on!

X-rated tee priced at $89. Henley and hoodie ranges from $130 to $189.

Melissa says “the Sans Vantie henley and hoodie is the prefect upgrade for whatever sweatshirt / polar fleece you’re wearing now – they’re as comfty but way more stylish.”

Really liking that tweed jacket Joa picked out as his favourite this fall? The old school patterns are making a return this fall, with a new pair of pant from Hiltl, available in plaid and herringbone (pictured below). If you plan on making a statement with the classics this fall, you can start with these. Priced at $295 each.

Melissa says “the new alternative to denim pants we got in are sooo easy to co-ordinate with because with different colors woven into the fabric you have so many more options for matching. For example the pant below, you can wear it with brown cord sportcoat or a blue v-neck sweater or a grey oxford shirt and a wool knit tie or a black cashmere hoodie or a…….”

What’s New: SAND

by Melissa in New Arrivals on August 9th, 2010 Discussion

Celebrating 25 years in business, SAND continues to become stronger and stronger with each collection. Our first delivery for Fall offers great pieces that you can wear now and into the cooler months:

1. The perfect slim fit oxford shirt in green and blue - darted both in the front and back for you guys that have worked out all summer. I love oxford shirts because they are such a beefy fabric with substance and they look better worn in. Part of the preppy revival (but really they’re a classic item every guy should have a few of, the fit just makes them better).

2. Cotton blazers – wear them for those cool summer nights now over a t-shirt or henley, then wear them in the fall over a buffalo plaid shirt and knit tie. TIP: Stop wearing hoodies when you go out and throw on a cotton blazer instead = instant style upgrade.

3. Alternative pants – In Europe all the well dressed guys are wearing chinos (rolled at the bottom) I’m kind of over denim (yawn) and really think guys need to expand past the comfort zone of just jeans. A good way to start is with the SAND black 5 pocket pant – it’s kind of a jean / dress cotton pant hybrid. Lends itself to be worn with both your most casual or dressy looks.

4. Check shirts – a nice break from the stripes, roll the sleeves up now and show off the contrast cuff, wear them layered under a sweater in the Fall.
