Wedding Of The Week: Ben & Natalie

It’s always a bright and cheery day at Gotstyle when we hear from our clients. It’s especially great when we receive pictures from a happy, and might we add well dressed groom. Ben, was one of the grooms we had the privilege to dress last year along with his four groomsman. We outfitted him in a sharp 3 piece, light gray Gotstyle suit with peak lapels, paired with a crisp white shirt, pocket square and black tie. As for his groomsmen, we fitted them in classic Paul Betenly Charcoal gray suits, a great compliment to Ben’s 3 piece.

A beautiful couple, a picturesque backdrop, and great outfits. Looks like a stunning wedding to us.

Modern Wedding Featuring a Gotstyle Suit

A modern wedding for a modern couple calls for a modern suit from Gotstyle. For this groom, a light grey pinstriped suit did the trick for his wedding at Evergreen Brickworks. Grey suits are great for less formal weddings: you can wear them again, they’re contemporary, they’re fun.

Gotstyle’s Groom Room Featured in the Toronto Star

Grooms are getting into the wedding mania. They’ve carved out a larger part in the gifts, menus, venue, decorations, and of course what they’ll be wearing. The Toronto Star interviewed Melissa on these changes, and why we created the Groom Room.

“Toronto menswear store Gotstyle introduced The Groom Room at its new location in the Distillery District. It resembles an 18th-century parlour. As grooms get fitted, groomsmen can hang out in the lounge, shoot pool and have a drink at a well-stocked bar.

“If you’re a bride getting married, you’ll go with your bridesmaids to get the dress and it’s a group activity,” says owner Melissa Austria. “We think guys should have the same experience.”

Grooms, bearing pictures of Ryan Gosling or George Clooney in a tuxedo, know exactly what kind of red-carpet look they want. Sometimes, their determination to get a particular stitch, colour or lapel, can transform them into groomzillas, says Austria.”

Gotstyle Grooms at the Wedluxe Wedding Show

Wedding of the Week: Colin & Brenda

We love when a groom brings his groomsmen along with him, which is exactly what Colin did. For this sunny autumn wedding, we chose Paul Betenly suits for his supporting guys and a Strellson suit for the groom himself. All of the guys were polished off with Gotstyle ties and pocket squares.
